It's a very politically driven school so I'd imagine they'd try to bury it as much as possible but shocked it hasn't leaked out to some news outlet or Grizzy

Wow. I went to that school and so did my sister. My family was actually involved with it when it was founded through cypress Bible church many decades ago.

Nearly broke my arm at Mark laniers house when I flipped a go kart. If my mom were more savvy we would have got paid lol. My arm is still messed up. Mark coached our basketball team, great guy.

I heard it was an assistant coach and not Codutti himself.

We're all old now in our late 40's & early 50's but from what some fellow ex-jocks who became HS teachers and coaches I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often. As far as I know, none of them partook but the stories of HS chicks throwing themselves at young coaches were crazy.

And it makes sense- the girls are interested in more mature guys who are still young and generally fit and very recently collegiate athletes.

There was a situation when I was a senior in HS where a first year coach at Bryan High was dating a chick on the drill team and it was an open secret. They ended up getting married a few years later and as far as I know are still married 30 years later.

Band director or choir teacher, I forget which, left his wife and kids for a senior he was having an affair with. This was in Angleton in the mid 90's.

They ended up getting married.

She was very attractive. He was not in her league at all but for some reason she liked him.

Went to CCCS for 4th and 5th grade which was around the time they bought the land for the new campus and the elementary school was still at CBC. Remember that back field and playing in the woods during recess.

I heard from a mother of several kids on the coaches team that there were NOT photos sent to the kids currently at the school, so let's squash that rumor right now.

I am guessing the rumor mill is working at absolute warp speed right now. Last week our staff cop asked a homeless guy to leave the public park adjacent to my kids private school, which he did immediately and without incident, and before the carpool line was out for the day, parents on the group chat were already saying they heard the guy had a gun and was on/selling drugs, and that's just how insane it got for the cop asking a homeless guy to leave. I can't imagine how bad it must be out there right now.

I think that's it…the longer it goes with nothing it swirls. He was over JH and my understanding it was freshmen kids now. The main one now lives out of state to my understanding. I'm getting from current and former staff so hard to know what the hell is going on. Can only imagine the hand grenade that went off and collateral damage.

Man, I vaguely remember that. I think that happened my junior year, so around '94 or so if I'm remembering correctly (50/50 at best). Pretty sure it was the choir teacher too.
