Didn't you get a shot at a black dial a couple of years ago from the AD? Or did that not come to fruition?

Yeah I did back in 2019. I had called for the white dial and they told me I was just a month late or they would've had one to give me. Called me 6 weeks later saying they had a black dial. Felt bad taking something someone else might want more and at the time I wasn't into "collecting". Had a black submariner watch as my black dial piece.

Figured I would get a call back for the panda sometime soon after but they never got another one in that they would pass along to me. Got several other watches just not the Daytona.

Yeah I remember that way back when...probably the right call with the info you had at the time and expectation that you'd snag a white dial at some point.
