Pretty cool for the kids. Went to the last one in LA before the lockdowns when I lived out there.

Hopefully area citizens do a better job representing the region than does Kappa Beach Party.

Anybody planning to attend any of this? Was looking to take the kids to tour one of the boats. Looks like I have to drive into the city to POST, then get on a bus to go right back by my house to do the tour, then bus back into the city. F that. Maybe I am reading it wrong.

I am also hesitant to attend anything that is free now. Too many knuckleheads and hooliehoos always appear at free events. I am considering the Sylvan beach thing on Sunday. That sounds good for the kids and the weather should be good.

Saw the opening ceremony at City Hall yesterday from my office window, pretty cool. Doubt I'll get to take the kids to anything, but some of the events look pretty cool.

That's the way I read it. Get your time online and go downtown and get on the bus for one of the ship tours. Looks like you don't get to choose which ship.
Sylvan Beach and the event at Ellington look like fun with the kids .
