Chances are most kids wouldn't know a chicken gizzard from a calf fry, and they're way more accessible.

There's a Netflix that just came out last week about Liver King.

Goes into how he started his schtick and then the following controversy surrounding his PED use.

I knew of him prior to this and kept up with his antics but it shakes out about how you'd imagine.
