Back in the late 90's when I was a staffer I worked for a manager that was going through a divorce. Around 4:30 each day he'd start talking about 'going out of state'. He'd be looking for any takers for a trip to the good ole' Colorado.
I bet you've never had a better manager in your entire career.

Fantasy Plaza North back in 2003-2004..man what a place that was. Used fake IDs we bought from a shady spot on Westheimer. There we were, high school white guys from suburbs, BYOB, full on neked establishment. Times were much simpler!

Man, for the road trips back from seeing family, with 3 kids in the car, I want the fastest route home, so I always put it into waze. More often than not, Don't know if it's weekend construction on BW, or if the time difference is negligible it will default to the no tolls route, but on a Sunday afternoon/evening, it will take us usually around 610 to 59 instead. And I've learned through making errors not to second guess waze when I think I know the route.
I hear they're going to have a deal with Mike Tyson where the chef will cook a lasagna and then iron Mike will come punch it.The Wonderer said:Texaggie7nine said:

The non-toll route is definitely more direct. It adds 6 extra miles to take the beltway around. So unless there is a significant slowdown through downtown (which there can be and will be once the decade long construction project ramps up), it will almost always be faster to stay on 59 than to hop on the beltway.
