2nd ever post on this forum after my space center post the other day, place that is high level for adults but can accommodate a 7 year old too. She loves steak but leans into burgers, chicken strips, and quesadillas. Going down to gaidos after the space center Saturday but need a good place for Friday night. Staying at the Hilton by the galleria. Price not an issue.

Molinas at Braes Blvd and Bellaire. Good tex mex, great (but very strong) margaritas. Not "high level", but nice.

Little matts is awesome. Great food. Great service. And free beer. Nothing to complain about.

Candente just opened up on S rice and Bellaire. Or The 401 on Ferris St.

Request is a bit contradictory about serving staples of a 7 year old but also high level. Those 2 places I think fit for you.

401 is great place. They have a room for kids to hang out and play in too that's monitored by staff. May call and check if that room has a time frame.

Samurai might work. Kids love hibachi places.

London Sizzler is good for kids, but if she is really well behaved I'd recommend splurging on Musaafer.

Either is perfect for kids and where my kids most often ask to go eat in person.

The 401 is a great compromise. Good food for adults but not stuffy for kids. Full bar, too.

Get the Philly cheesesteak on ciabatta.

My vote. Great scenery.

All those for the most part are fine, i would add Auntie Pasta's for an Italian option. However i dont think they have the chicken strip hamburger options
