It's been maybe 15 years since I bought a new suit. thinking it might be time to get a new one. Where are people going nowadays to get fitted for a decent suit. Not trying to break the bank, but also maybe looking for more than just Men's Warehouse.

Eh, I've been pleased with what I've gotten there. I don't wear suits often though.
I have several shirts from Charles Tyrwhitt and really like them. I was going to try a suit from there, but wanted to go in store. I thought they had a store in the Galleria, but it doesn't look like it anymore. Closest one is in Chicago.
I recently bought a couple of suits from SuitShop and was pleased. It is a basic showroom with just a few options, but you get fitted, and they mail you your suits. They are of good quality and I think I paid about $400 for the pair.
The only downside is that you have to take them somewhere else to get tailored.

I've bought from Brooks Bros. (expensive but only somewhat custom), Tom James (more expensive but better tailored) and the board's recommendation from Asia (not much of a cost savings but big step down in tailoring and quality). I'm overdue for a replacement. I'll probably go back to Tom James. They've got a retail location on 11th St. just south of Timbergrove.
What is your budget? I don't really wear suits much anymore, but I've been pleased by my custom fitted suit from J Hilburn. I think it ran me just under $1k.

Fly to Vietnam or Thailand and buy a bunch of custom shirts and a suit or two.

One of my customers is from India and he wears custom made and tailored suits that look like they cost thousands of dollars for a few hundred. The tailor has all of his measurements so he just orders them up now when he needs a new one.

I've actually had good luck at dillards when I have randomly popped in and they have had a good sale. Worth looking in to imo, but probably better for sport coats than suits.

I'm not a suit expert and most of mine are off the rack w/ minimal tailoring.
