It does.

I know of a plant operator and also a volunteer firefighter who both dislocated hips falling out of chairs.

The plant operator fell out of his chair after falling asleep on night shift at a plant in Oyster Creek.

The volunteer firefighter fell out of a lawn chair while taking a rest after fighting a house fire in Angleton or Danbury.

I play often at Hughies w/ beers and I had a weird slip a while back....and thought how I couldn't tell anyone if a pickleball injury screwed up the out of town half marathon that I was doing a week later.

Arent they building a new giant LBJ? Harris Health is building a huge new hospital up on nawf side area, I have seen it rise from the ashes like a phoenix from my office downtown

Not according HFD guidelines. Maybe they are, but they are not considered trauma center by HFD. HFD hasn't "approved" them as a transport destination for trauma for its members. Could be in the process of changing though.

MH sugar land is not a level 1 trauma center. Only ones in area are Ben Taub, MH medical center and UTMB Galveston.

Looks like MH SL is a level IV trauma center. malenurse is correct as it's a trauma center, just low level. HFD only recognizes and transports only to I,II and III trauma centers for trauma.

I can't think of a reason that HFD would come out to Sugar Land. After all, it's really located at Greatwood. Several miles west of SL.

All MH ERs are trauma certified. Just different levels. TMC is the only Level 1 ER. Katy is Level 3 currently working to certify as Level 2. Woodlands is a level 2. SW used to be a 3, now a 4. SL is a 4. Greater Heights is a 3.

Those are the ones I am familiar with. Worked for 8 years at SW and the last 11 in Katy.

No Methodist ERs are currently trauma certified to my knowledge.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But, it's still on the list.
