Last August our final evening in the hill country we went into Bandera and torrential rain hit as soon as we got into town. The sides of the road in town turned into rapids quite rapidly and water seemed to build up quickly all around. Considering some of the lower roadways around there and all the undulation, I could easily see how someone might misguage things and make a serious mistake.
