Was looking to possibly go surround myself with Swedes and Dutch peeps Saturday afternoon after their matchup. We think Downtown/Eado would be the default happenin spot? Wish the Japanese were here, would love to sign up to be a tour guide/chapperone.

I live in EADO - it's been busy to say the least.

Forewarning.. seems lots of bars have jacked up the prices with FIFA in town. A domestic draft and a well vodka soda cost us over $30 at an EADO bar last weekend.

Dang that's crazy. I'll probably mostly just be on responsible amounts of thc and/or psilocybin, zyns (6-12mg), and water. Eh, I'll probably have a few drinks too, even at those prices. Oh, and maybe 1-3 cigarettes.

They weren't partying, but there were a ton of foreigners at Costco today. I don't think they were Dutch though.

Pitch Live, across Walker from Pitch 25 will have Dutch DJs and a lot of the Dutch fans there Saturday afternoon and night.

Warehouse live in midtown has a big Dutch DJ tomorrow night with a lot of the Dutch partying there.

We will be seeing another Dutch DJ at Rich's tomorrow night.

That whole area has more authentic Texas/Tejano "culture" in its pinky than all of downtown and rice village combined. Maybe someone did their homework. Can bounce over to Nikki's or Blue Lagoon after.

My wife and I rode our bikes down Braes Bayou this morning and stopped to watch the Dutch parade past us on their way to NRG. It was cool to see. Tons of positive energy. Saw A LOT of Astros jerseys and T-shirts.

The Sweden team buses passed by us on Braeswood when we were headed back home. I thought it was weird they were going down Braeswood instead of a freeway, but I guess they were trying to avoid traffic.
