I'm looking for a Lubbock barbecue place that does a good job with meats and sides for takeout. Hosting a graduation gathering in August and want to feed the crew some barbecue. Thanks for your suggestions.

I know it's not exactly Lubbock there is a place in Olton called Rejinos. I've never had the chance to make it down to Olton to try it out but everybody says its great. It's even made the Texas Monthly top 50 BBQ places list.

Rejino's is owned by an absolutely wonderful guy. Evie Mae's has the most tender brisket I've ever tasted. Can't go wrong with either of them

My wife is from Olton and we visit there often. Rejino's BBQ is the real deal and worth the trip. Anna's Restaurant in Olton has some mighty fine Mexican food and their carne guisada is outstanding!!!
