a couple of good Ags moving to Midland/Odessa.

Does anyone have recommendations for neighborhoods to target or ones to avoid? One of us will be working near 250/191 and the other closer to the airport. Is that area in between ideal?

Welcome to Midland. Not sure what your price range is but there are several good neighborhoods west of 250 that would be good for commuting. That being said, it only takes 15 minute at worst to get from one side of town to the other.

any neighborhoods you recommend staying away from?
We are planning to drive out at the beginning of the month and will be spending a day driving around hoping to get a feel for the town and the neighborhoods.
I'll definitely make sure to spend some time in the area west of 250.

edit to note that while I said airport in my initial post; after spending a few more days familiarizing myself with Midland, I realize now that "airport" would refer to MAF while the second workplace is actual near the airpark (MDD). Edited for clarification; i'm not sure if that changes any recs

I will be moving to the area in the next year. Might have to live in Odessa… but I would certainly prefer midland.
