The school experience will depend on whether you get the teacher you want and classmates you want for your kids at elementary schools here. Andy woods, Jack, owens are still the ones my friends want their kids in but just be attuned to the classroom experience instead of the name.

Good morning ya'll, We live in Georgetown near Austin but over the last 12-18 months I keep coming back to the internet and looking at Cascades Condos - something about them I just love. I've read some of the comments here - and wondering if there has been any local news about foundation issues there? I've seen some of those comments here, so that would be a big concern. Very interested in knowing about what any issues might be before we make a trip there and fall in love. We are interested in a condo at this stage of life -- and these look beautiful -- but don't want to get into something that has serious problems. Would great appreciate any information ya'll have. Thanks in advance.

Can't speak to any foundation issues there, but I lived in the Cascades apartments right next to the condos. Really nice area, you feel secluded from the rest of Tyler. Played the golf course almost every weekend and I've heard great things about the restaurant right there on the water for members. The lake there used to be a great bass fishery but the vegetation has taken over quite a bit. Always people out and about around the condos / course.
