2017 Explorer Sport 3.5 Boost - running sluggish, no codes

How long do you want to ignore this user?

Last week my wife made a trip to TX from Denver. AC compressor took a dump in Madisonville so she detoured to BCS and our mechanic there replaced the compressor.

On her return trip she noticed the car had no pickup - mash the gas and engine gets loud but power doesn't get to the ground.

When I got a chance to drive it I confirmed the issue is real. It almost feels like the turbos aren't working but I couldn't wrong. Code reader shows nothing.

So: is there anything that could have not been put back together correctly after AC job that could explain this?

If not, what could? Simple as throttle body or MAF sensor? Or something way worse?

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

No codes is weird but it could be many things., my guess is it is sucking in air and getting a bad mix or the throttle body is having issues. Just places to check

Check from the throttle body back to air cleaner for any loose or missing clamps. Also check the air filter housing for a restriction.

Fixed. Air intake hose was not connected after service!! Runs like a scalded ape again.
Thanks guys for the input.

1ags - 107k on the car, I think I did plugs at 60k but I need to check my records. Good reminder.
