No, this thread is not about German cars, this one will feature good old American muscle.
My wife and I knew we had our 4th child on the way and I had been casually looking for an F250 with a jump seat so we could pull our camper with the whole family. My wife started talking about Excursions but I told her I do way too much truck stuff to get rid of my Tundra. We looked a bit on FB and realized a 6.0 could be had for a price that would allow me to keep my truck. Last November we picked up a super clean 2003 with 202K on the clock. Got a screaming deal on it because it had a misfire. New injector wiring harness took care of that.

We proceeded to drive it to Garner State park a few weeks after getting it with no issues.

Then we took it to Illinois in January for a funeral. It handled the cold weather like a champ. Made sure to take plenty of extension cords for the block heater but one day got lazy and it cranked up fine in about 10F.

Around the same time my wife asked if she could drive the excursion for a week so I moved the car seats from the minivan. Needless to say they never went back to the minivan. We sold it a few months later. This left me feeling a little uneasy about our only 6 seater vehicle being a 6.0. So I resumed my search for an F250 and landed on a 2015 Lariat with 184K on it. Swapped the consul for a jump seat and my wife now has a back up car. Sold my 97 jeep because it just felt frivolous at that point.

Fast forward a few months and through a series of fortunate events I wound up with this bad boy and fulfilled my dream of owning something completely impractical but 100% awesome. 8.3L of turbo'd happiness. I don't know the MPG because I only track smiles per gallon. 1991 and if the odometer is correct it has under 4,000 miles on it.

Still have the Tundra because at 260K I doubt I could sell it for what it's worth to me. It's just a back up at this point.
