Did a search for this and haven't seen this discussed on the forums before, so thought I'd share.

I recently attended the Raptor Assault course outside of Salt Lake City, part of the Ford Performance Racing School. Reviews on the Raptor forums varied, mostly positive but some commenting they didn't necessarily learn much new.

The facility and instructors were great. The event has an evening dinner reception the night before, and then on the day of you receive about an hour and a half of classroom instruction about the various modes on the truck before hitting the trail for the rest of the day.

The day starts out with a trail ride out to the Ford Performance property. You mostly stay in Off Road mode, navigating wash out and milder trail conditions.

Once we made it to the facility itself, the different groups went through the activities as groups of 4. We did the side hill (~31 degrees), the ascent/descent using Trail Control, Baja course using each mode and practicing turns, Rock crawl course, the famous jump, then finally the longer Baja course. Lunch was held at the top of one of the trails - once the site of some mining activity.

The day wrapped with general Q&A and "awards" - basically a paperweight of the front grille with our names on it, a t-shirt, koozie, air freshener, keychain, and a few things I don't remember.

Really fun day, and a nice trip out to the area. Made me a lot more confident in the capabilities of the truck and look forward to hitting some trails near home.

Looks like fun! Love my Raptor, like driving a fast and super comfortable side x side. The wider wheelbase and super soft suspension is unlike anything else I've experienced.

Very cool. That truck just did more off roading in that single day than 99% of raptors will ever do.

That class is more offloading than my current Raptor. Not as much as the previous one.

Those classes are fun. I've been twice and enjoyed both.
