Just dont splurge on anything too new or nice. If statistics hold, it'll get banged up in first yr or two.

I would encourage you to look at Carvana. Weve had good luck there twice and no slimy salesman to haggle with.

We did this for both kids cars. Worked out well. My son's had some weird noises early on, Carvana covered 100% of the repairs ($1,500+/-)

And yes, he's banged the living crap out of it over the last few years.
