In before Boooooost!

I'm down to used 4wd Tundra vs Titan. Trying to keep it under $30K. I drive vehicles for ev er and hate car shopping.

Thoughts??
2014 Tundra SR5 with 55K miles. $28k
2017 Tundra SR5 with 82K. $29K
2015 Titan pro 4X. 84K. $18K
2019 Titan SV with 47K. $26K

Can't go wrong with any of them. I was in a similar spot 1.5 years ago and went with a Titan SL 4x4. I love it, and I saved $8k-$10k over a similar Tundra. The Toyota does have a higher towing capacity if that's something that matters to you (11k lbs vs 9 I think).

I'd go with the Tundra that has the better color.

Either Tundra as long as they are the 5.7 V8s. I'd pick the one in better overall condition

All good options, all very reliable. Drive each one and pick the one you like the best.

That 2015 Titan seems like a hell of a deal if it's in good shape.

Id shop around for a Pro 4x with fewer miles. Tundras are always priced at a premium and the SR5 is a pretty basic trim.

If I had to pick one from that list, and they were all in similar condition, i might pick the Titan SV.

Toyota bros would probably be willing to pay extra for manual locks & windows

TBF the door lock actuators were the Achilles heel of my 13 Tundra. Had to replace two of them and sold it at 275k miles.

If only it was an option.

The Carfax on the 2017 Tundra says it was in an accident in Sep 2021. Damage to the front but airbags did not deploy. Original owner kept it until recently. Is it ok to assume the accident isn't anything to worry about?

My immediate thought is "what is wrong with the truck?"

Great price if there isn't a problem.

It's at a scammy dealer, I looked at several $10-15K range cars for my daughter at small dealers in that area and all seemed like they weren't taken care of, had odd issues like rear speakers not working, suspension/front end, or transmission issues, or a combination of.

I did find one that checked all of the boxes only to find out it was a salvage title at the last minute.

Salvage title when you click on its CarFax link.

I had a couple folks try to tell me that rebuilt isn't bad and it's not 'salvage'. Lol no thanks.

Yeah I came across this one. The photos alone scream sketchy used car lot.
