Just picked up a 2020 F250 (115k miles) last week and I'm wanting to get a delete done relatively soon. I'm a pretty decent shade tree mechanic so I'm thinking I can do it at home if I can get all the parts mailed in. From the research I've done so far, I'm seeing that this year EZ Lynk has support now for the 2020+ trucks so there's no longer a need to send in the ECM.

Does anyone have an recommendation for where I can get a full delete kit or multiple places to get the different parts to make it happen? I'm seeing most commonly folks have used Diesel Dudes, Proven Diesel, or Patriot Diesel. Let me know your thoughts. I'm in the DFW area so if there is a local spot I'm not opposed to supporting a mom & pop.

Best to order off the internet. It is easy to do yourself, unless you already have a strong relationship with a local shop they are unlikely to stick their neck out for you and do the work. The shops have been the targets of the Feds.

Yeah, I think I can tackle the delete myself at home. I just need to figure out where online to get the stuff. Proven is looking like a great place to get the tunes...But I don't see them selling the exhaust pipe and egr block off plates.

Really sucks how much the fines have been that some of these shops are getting smacked with.

I looked but can't find where I got my kit from they may be out of business. FWIW I didn't bother with egr block off as it wasjust turned it off with the tuner.

I have a 2009 6.4 Powerstroke that I deleted years ago, got everything from Sinister. Bought the Spartan tuner, use the lowest HP tune and you won't "roll coal".

The hardest part of that job, and it may be different with the 2020 6.7, is I had to lift the body up 3 inches or so to get to the bolts on the exhaust pipe

I did not have to jack the body up on my '15 6.7 the highest of the three took some work but with extensions and wobblers I made it work.

What would we do without extensions and wobblers LOL

I used the Diesel Dudes. While everything turned out ok, I don't think I would recommend them. I had a few minor questions and hiccups during the install and they don't have anyone answering the phones. I had to email and wait 2 days for a response. The tunes seem generic and I just keep it in 1, maybe 2. The higher tunes, 3, 4, and 5....just puts out a ton of smoke and it seems like I'm gonna blow the transmission up. 1 and 2 have good power that is what I use.

I bought the 4" pipe with muffler. It is nice and quiet. Louder than stock, but not by much.

The hardest part, and the part that took 2-3 days, was removing the EGR. I read and watched a few videos that mentioned that you do not need to remove the EGR to "delete" it. Just unplug it and reroute some line. I would look into that. Removing the entire EGR lead to broken bolts on the pipe that goes down to the intake. That led to right angle drill adapters, lots of drilling and tapping and cussing. I even had to remove the upper intake.

I would look into who makes the best usable tunes. If I had to do it over again, I would look for 1 or 2 towing tunes, a daily driver tune, and maybe a high idle tune or something.

Nobody in the US will openly sell you what you want because of EPA BS, so you have to order from Canada. This shop is one of the most prominent in the diesel community. They sell completely packages with everything you need.

I second all this info. Ordering and deliver were easy. Support was slow and my email only.

I did a 21 Ram and the EGR was a beyatch.

I was looking at DieselrCorp yesterday. They seem like a pretty safe bet. I've also been seeing some good reviews for ASAP Calibrations. Guy named Alex Bui. He's really active in the 2020+ 6.7 Powerstrokes Facebook group.

I ran the XRT Pro on my 6.4. Left the EGR in place, used an MBRP pipe with bungs and an MBRP muffler. I ran the hottest setting (250 hp) and got no smoke. It was good for a 4mpg increase, and pushing the skinny pedal would make that truck fly. Lots of fun to drive.
