Looking specifically for a Rubicon model. He doesn't have any on his lot at the moment. Looks like two are in transit.

Look at Covert in Austin. I bought my Jeep from Ryan Sugrue and did 95% of it over text message from my pool. They're a volume dealership, so inventory turns quickly. They show 7 on the lot and 2 on order.

They tried to do the typical add-ons at the dealership, but I just said no or I walk. Ryan's words were "at Covert, we'd rather have a return customer than make a few immediate bucks." It was oddly specific, so it's likely something they just do/say.

I can't say I have any special relationship with Ryan or anything, but he was straightforward and didn't play the slimy sales game.

why Rubicon and not Mojave? (note: I have a Rubicon)

I've considered it. I really like the Mojave. I had a Rubicon last time. We spend a lot of time in Mason, so I figure the Rubicon is more appropriate.

If I get another one, I'll get a Mojave.

I put the bigger Fox suspension available through Jeep on my last one, and I REALLY liked the ride after that.

I don't remember all differences between the Mojave and Rubicon, but I thought the major one was the suspension, so I figure I'll just get another Rubicon if I'm going to change it out.
