Does anybody have a wheel treatment they like for keeping wheels clean even just a little longer than normal?

And while on the topic a wheel and tire cleaner to recommend?

I have been using this for the cleaning

And would have a hard time saying it was all that great. Smells super nice but that doesn't seem like much of a selling point.

I'd deep clean then ceramic coat the caliper and wheel face/barrel. Brake dust will generally just wipe/blow off with a good ceramic coating. Once you coat the wheels, you can't use any aggressive chemicals or drive thru car washes that will strip the coating.

I use these for initial cleanings with the first one in a battery powered foam sprayer.

I don't generally like Chemical Guys stuff.

Look at changing brake pads if you want to keep dust down. Ceramics will dust less but could have worse initial braking performance depending on your car.

I agree with all of this.

Almost all wheels are clear coated now. Some kind of wax/protection will make it last a lot longer.

The car washes that spray acid into your wheels are literally killing the finish on them.

For a cleaner, I use Superior Products Dark Fury. You buy it by the gallon from Oreilly and dilute 4:1. Very economical and great at cleaning.
