I know. They are ugly and and whatever further downsides this board rattles off…

With that said, I would appreciate good recommendations for shops that do Cybertruck wraps well. I'm located in Montgomery county, but will travel for quality.

I actually like them. At least they're different and out of the box. Vehicles today are all so carefully designed around the same design and regulatory constraints and the same market input that in each category they all look the same except for very superficial details. It's pretty boring.

Honestly it will probably be my next vehicle as long as I can find one that already has lifetime FSD. Not going to sell my ICE truck or anything, but won't really be driving it much anymore.

I still have a diesel ford truck for ranch trips and such. Its use case makes complete sense for me. But thanks for the replies.

I'm not ignorant to the appeal of a vehicle that drives you around or whatever. It's not for me but I get it for people are gay or something.

But the two questions I have that no one can answer are these:

Why do they call it a truck?
Why do they make them look the way that they do?

Saw one last week wrapped with chameleon "paint". However that works. It changed colors as it went by.

There is another in my area wrapped with shiny black vinyl. It looks like it would belong to Darth Vader. It's pretty striking as it goes by. They need to put some Imperial insignia on it and full-on Star Wars nerd.

Elon said they can punch the panels out of sheet stainless and bend them for way less than the big machines that make the attractive round and curved metal. So, it is to save money and keep the price somewhat affordable. Still way above what was promised, but would be worse if it looked good.
