Ha. I'm self-employed so I picked what I liked. I drive 70K annually so decent economy is a must. The short list was the CX-5, Rav4, and Corolla. Corolla didn't make the cut due to sitting too low, and low ground clearance. The Rav4 just didn't feel as nice as the CX.
Getting out of a 4x4 Escape.

ETA: the CX is full power, Bose sound, sunroof, leathered up.
