I'll go first and this is all in regards to the Allen Honda service center. This is necessary because the old bash Allen Honda thread has been deleted.

1) My mom got a repair quote on her Odyssey van for $1700. They stated it was a leak somewhere with the transmission. My hubby hunted it down, and it was a very tiny oil leak above the trans that had dripped down. If my mom had approved the repair, it would not have even done anything as the quote was for the wrong leak.
2) Neighbor was a stay at home mom. She had a 5 year old Odyssey that needed an inspection. She went into to Allen and asked for an inspection and they scribbled $3500 worth of repairs that needed to be done on the back of blank piece of paper. I called 1Ags and listed the items and NONE needed to be repaired for a state inspection. They were just trying to scam a mom with 3 little kids.
I took her van back Allen Honda and demanded they show me all the mandatory repairs. They started back pedaling immediately that these were all "optional" and she must have misunderstood. Absolute BS!
So these are the 2 reasons that I will never buy a car from Allen Honda nor use their Taj Mahal service center.
