Retrax Pro. Got it at DFW Truck & Auto Accessories in the Alliance area 35W and Golden Triangle.

I really like it. It's not cheap, so I'd wait for a sale. I imagine 4th of July sales will start soon. I got $300 off for Memorial Day. I just wanted it before vacation.

I loved retrax but hate how much bed space the box takes up. I bought a Worksport trifold

I know most foldable are not truly 100% waterproof, but does it do a good job minimizing water leakage in heavy rain?

I was supposed to drive to Lake Charles tomorrow and grab the new Ram. All the paperwork is signed.

Otis calls me to tell me that when he sent the truck over to be washed that the check engine light comes on. It has 20 miles on it. He calls me back an hour and a half later to tell me its a "battery pack" code and its located behind the seat?

He's now looking for the exact same truck and said they would put it on a trailer and deliver it to my house! Or, they might order the same truck.

Insanity! Great job by Otis, though. Love the honesty

The hybrid battery for the etorque is located there. Good thing to catch it now

Those guys are great at Mark Dodge. They had a forged blue metallic exactly with what I wanted, but he said it was damaged in transit. I was curious and asked him how bad and if not so bad, would take more off the price. He told me it was damaged so badly, they were sending it back.

What would make it do that at 20 miles?

I go to Gilman Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep at BW8 and 59. I have worked with them over the years and they do a good job.

The truck i signed for and just had to go pick it up but never nor will I

It was a Ram Rebel, Canyon Lake Green, Rebel Level 2 interior. Freaking loved everything about it until the check engine light came on. I went down the etorque rabbit hole shortly after. Ive talked myself out of etorque now and have a deal done on another truck thats completely different in almost every way. Ill be picking it up Saturday

I went with TT inline 6 and absolutely love it so far. Great get up and damn good gas mileage.

I've got 130k miles and never had any issues with etorque so far. Hopefully it stays that way.
Love my Ram

My point isn't some success story, just that I am thankful that haven't seen any issues with my etorque system as others have.

I HAVE had all kinds of headaches with the entertainment system. That thing is buggy as hell. When I asked the dealership a couple years ago they were like " yeah all Rams have issues and they don't know what's the problem"….

That said
Love my Ram and it's been my favorite truck I've ever owned.

I was going into the Rebel delivery wondering if the glove box screen would cause me issues down the road.

Yeah I'm not sure if I would want that.

I have a 22 Laramie longhorn. it has the saddle seats with cooling and heat, which I love, and it doesn't have the huge waterfall screen. I prefer the switches and knobs anyway. I hate having to try and navigate the screens while driving…knobs and switches are more intuitive for me anyway.
If I ordered a new Ram I would stay away from all the extra screens and stuff.

I do wish they offered the 6.4 engine in the 1500 though. Now that GM is offering the 5.7 and 6.6, maybe Ram will do it too. I would also love to see Ram offer the 1500 cab layout in the 2500/3500 series. I hate that you basically have to sacrifice the back seat to go heavy duty.

I drive the truck a lot and use it a lot at my ranch. It's a work truck that while it stays dirty, it still really comfortable for all the driving I do. Only weakness is towing limitation

Just got done driving my new Ram Laramie home from Twin Lakes, Colorado to the DFW area. That is without a doubt the most comfortable truck I've ever driven. Usually after 4-5 hours, my ass starts to hurt. Well, I just drove nearly 13 hours and feel fine, other than fatigue from driving all day.

The V8 did great climbing the steep mountains and hills. Got my truck not even a month ago and already have 3,300 miles on it. Going to change the oil sometime this next week. Hoping not to leave the house for the rest of the weekend.

And I also agree with the second screen being stupid. I had a choice of the truck I got or one with the full digital dash and passenger screen. I forewent that so I could have a larger fuel tank and Ram boxes.

What a wild ride my process was. First the check engine light on a truck i had closed on. Then switching to another/different truck, and the mess today on our way to Lake Charles. Apparently, I did not properly tighten the lugs on the front driver's side wheel! After 218 miles, the wheel comes off while going 60mph in Orange Texas!! Some how (grace of God) the wheel stayed in the wheel well!!!! One of the stems sheered off on the process. $580 later, we stroll in Mark Dodge, in a tow truck. 30 mins later, we're leaving in a...

2026 Ram 2500 4x4 Laramie. 6.4L (gas)

Otis was great! He has a texags account! He also says its too overwhelming so it doesnt sound like he posts or reads? I should have asked but felt rushed to get on the road. Plus we were so hungry. Try Darrels sandwich (restaurant) just a couple miles out from Mark Dodge

Thanks for all the info on this thread. I am starting to look at new Rams since we are giving my son my 2018 Laramie. trying to decide between the Laramie and the Limited/Longhorn (like both). And I go back and forth on the Ram boxes.
