So what is your diet and exercise like? I have been losing more like 3 lb a month, not the 10 you've been averaging and we are similar weights. I started at around 240 and was 210 this morning, but I've been taking it for about a year.
EDIT - went back and saw your earlier post.
My issue is me not keeping my diet under control. And by diet, I mean craft beer consumption.
Wow, congrats on hitting One-derlandthat's a huge milestone! Your experience mirrors a lot of what I've seen too. I've been on Mounjaro for a little over three months and I'm down 28 lbs. The appetite suppression and portion control have been total game changers. Same hereno intense workouts or crash diets, just more mindful eating and letting the med do its job.91_Aggie said:

I was at my annual check up and telling my doctor that I have had success eating low carb before but I can't make it the first three weeks without sugar so I keep failing. She suggested tirzepatide for a short period to break the sugar addiction. I got on it for 6 weeks and had no sugar or bad carbs the whole time. It was effortless. She started me on 2.5 but they reduced the dose after a few weeks and by my last shot it was 1.0 mg.
I have been off of it for over a month and continue losing weight. My doctor told me if I end up struggling again I can always get back on it.
If you are struggling with sugar/carb addiction and want to use this to break it, it is amazing. I highly recommend it. I think even longer term use is good as long as you are actually changing your lifestyle by eating whole foods, lifting weights, and getting your steps in.
The reason I stopped is because I was trying to hit a protein goal every day and it felt impossible on the shot. I think it would have worked if ate four smaller protein based meals per day but I don't have time for that on work days. I was also concerned that some days my calorie intake would be super low from lack of hunger and feeling full for a long time after meals. I didn't want to destroy my metabolism by chronic low calorie days.
If I end up hitting a hard plateau and can't get past it with all the tools I have to help with weight loss then I will get back on a micro-dose again and try eating smaller meals throughout the day to get enough protein.

On 2mg ozempic qweek, down 47# from 336 to 289. Appetite has really dropped off. I have lost muscle but a lot of water (bloat) and fat. On TRT so has preserved some muscle I think. I feel great. Joints don't ache anymore, BP great on half the BP meds and my A1c is back around 5.6-5.7. I have zero plans to get off. My insurance bc/bs covers it, $15/mo. The improvements in my health and long term CV benefits outweigh any potential risks.
Retatrutide is going to be the new one to watch. It shows to actually reverse fatty liver.
