I got my latest last November. They removed a couple of polyps and told me to come back in five years.
I tried to get them to do it without knocking me out but they insisted on knocking me out for it. When they did my previous colonoscopy at the same place, they gave me an option of whether to do it with or without sedation. I've read that in most of the world, there is no option to be sedated.
I tried talking my younger brother into getting a colonoscopy at the same time so we could be each other's driver.

I guess I was a bit groggy when they finished. I woke up before they even began wheeling me out of the room. I had looked at the clock as they sedated me and the first sight I saw after looking past the anaesthesiologist was the clock. It was quite nice to see the passage of time.
A few minutes later when they told me to get dressed and ran the curtain around me for privacy, I quickly got dressed and then looked at the gurney. It was kind of messy so I decided to straighten up the sheet and blanket on it. Then, since there was only one sheet, I started short-sheeting the gurney. This really puzzled the nurse when she came to check on me.
