You can skip to about 11:17 and see the testing results. And the results of the brands tested were mostly bad, as in almost no creatine.

I wonder how many products I have bought over the years that contained less than or no suppliment?

When creatine comes in its most purest form (monohydrate powder with no fillers at all) it shocks me that people would choose to do gummies.

Whole lotta extra junk added in and now clear proof that they dont even provide the main ingredient like they claim

Yeah, I agree. It's tasteless powder that you can add to about anything. Why would you need it in any other form?

there was a guy on Rogan telling him to stop using creatine gummies that they most likely had little if any creatine in them.

Always have taken the powder. Going on a trip soon and ordered some of the Jocko travel packs so I can still get powder in easy travel form that's already measured and you don't have to try to fly with a jug or random zip lock baggie full of white powder.

That's kind of similar to the Spring Energy awesome sauce controversy. Awesome sauce was a gel that claimed to have 45g of carbs and 180 calories per gel and independent testing showed it to actually have ~15g of carbs and 50-90 calories per gel (it varied wildly between different samples). When people were relying on these for fueling for events... that's a bit of a problem.

Just to beat a dead horse.

And for the record I have never bought or used a supplement in a gummy. But I have been tempted.

I started taking creatine last month for the first time since high school 30 years ago. I bought the Divinus Labs brand that failed miserably in the video just above this post. As I was watching the video I was hoping that my brand was one of the ones that failed because I have not noticed any difference at all after one month. I don't know what I should expect after 1 month though.
Just last week I received my second order of creatine, but this time I went with powder for better value and bought the Bulk Supplements brand that is also in the video. Hopefully I'm super ripped and borderline genius in 30 days.
Thanks for posting these videos.

Well, just tossed mine. I take them when traveling. Don't usually like packing protein, mixing bottle and creatine when I travel, and the gummies seemed to be a simple option. Luckily I'd only take them for a few days every month.

What differences are you expecting? What physical activity do you do?

I know a guy that owns a supplement company in Houston. We're not best friends or anything but in a position to get a little bit of direct information.

According to him, it would be impossible for many of the supplements to contain what they claim just due to the price point. They are selling at.

He then goes on to say, almost everybody, including his company by raw inputs from China. And it's a constant battle making sure he gets not only the correct potency, but that the items don't contain fillers or poison.

But I'm still usually interested in what supplements are out there and what the claims are for benefits.

Creatine is one of the few supplement I've ever been able to really say has benefited me. Maybe two others.

Like MEEN above, I hadn't taken creatine since HS when I wasn't remotely serious about lifting. I've been seriously lifting for 7-8 years now and I feel like an idiot for not starting creatine sooner. I look better and I've pushed through some plateaus that dogged me for a while.

Monday: Lift for 1 hour (waist up)
Tuesday: Run 4 miles
Wednesday: 5 sets of squats and ~30 minutes of Yoga
Thursday: Lift for 1 hour (Waist up)
Friday: Run 10 miles
Sat and Sun: Chillax (not really, but no set workout)
Been lifting since I was 17, running since I was 26. 48 now. Running pace is slower and reps at max weight is lower, but still ok with how I'm doing.
Acceptable?
Expected differences? Not sure, but something slightly noticeable… maybe looking a little more buff, maybe an extra rep, maybe runs are easier.

Wasn't judging man, was just curious. I'm the same age as you and first started lifting when I was 13. And I first started using creatine my senior year of high school during powerlifting season when the owner of a gym I went to gave me some to try. It was noticeable to me. Just seemed to have a little more left in the tank than normal on heavy lifts, could push through for extra reps, etc. I haven't always lifted consistently as an adult, but when I have, I've always used in since (especially since it's way cheaper now than it was in the mid-90's). I lift pretty regularly now with my son, and have for awhile, as he's gotten into powerlifting. We both use it regularly.

Given I always use it now, it's hard to tell how much it helps. But the most benefit will be from lifting (in my experience), just due to the nature of what it is doing (providing phosphate for the ATP cycle during intense, brief periods of activity). I've always been under the impression it's not going to do that much for endurance activities, but I could be wrong. It may make you look a little bigger due to water retention, but I never thought it was overly dramatic.

Glutamine 100% helps reduce soreness for me after working out

Amino acid supplements also work for me.

Everything else has been a waste of money and time.

My "Acceptable" line came off a little more aggressive than intended. I can see why now, but I wrote it while enjoying the second of two mixed drinks and watching The X-Files, which is a bad habit that my weekend schedule allows (drinks, not show).
