Texas Big Star Half in Frisco. 2:00 pacer. Very humid morning, my pacing partner backed off at 8, but ended up with a good sized group who hung on to hit the goal.

Nice, I thought about running it but after Austin and NYC this spring, running in my neighborhood didn't have much appeal. Also, it was likely that it would be too warm and I was correct.

Mostly group runs these days. In Plano, Carrollton, and sometimes McKinney with Craig Ranch Running Club, the group that provides the pacers for a number of races.

I've always been a lone wolf, haven't been on a group run since my senior year in the corps. I think I'm ready to try again. I'm going to work on speed this summer to help with HYROX. I'm across Custer from Craig Ranch so that group would be convenient.
