Good read detailing several of the personalities in the air war around New Guinea and Australia in WWII.

If you're into USAAF history, particularly the P-38, ive found it very interesting. About half through it now.

My mother's father fought through New Guinea and The Philippines (got reduced in rank after a night out in Brisbane before they shipped out).

But mostly, I just stopped by to brag about the P-38 representing Burbank, California. My kids used to play softball at Robert Gross Park which was gifted to the city by Lockheed.
