It's painful to see all of that burnt orange. We definitely need to flip a couple on 'D'.

What are the odds we flip McNeil now that UT is in disarray? I am assuming he would be a take for the new staff.

I really want us to go strong after the Devantes. Fields would be a great WDE and Harris will give us another good Corner prospect.

WR-Wheeler
WR-Johnson
WR-Pope
DE-Magee
DE-Fields
DE-Manakainiu
DE-Hunter
DT-Pennel
DT-Iduoze
LB-Peters
DB-Harris
DB-McNeil
ATH-D. Johnson

I might be missing a couple, but these are the guys we need to focus on IMO.

I see that tu has all these blue chips. Every year tu has gotten more blue chips than anybody. Then how come the media in Austin says that there is such a lack of talent right now at tu. Heard that ashe is toast. Already talking about a brewer or something being the next great QB.

t.u. media always say that they dont have talent. But the facts are that the prima donnas in Austin ALWAYS have 4 and 5 star talent....deep ! It makes me wonder if Leach or Gundy had 1/4 of that talent....what could they do with it. t.u. squanders more talent than Aggies do....and thats a bunch folks !!!

For the life of me, I can't figure why ANYBODY would want to commit to tu. They WASTE more talented players. Their idea is to grab the most talented just so other universities can't get them. Trouble with that is, they don't play them. Anybody with talent should realistically look where they stand in the "chain" of talent at tu. If, realistically, they aren't going to play, they need to pick a university where they can showcase their talent. tu wastes more talent than any other university in this nation.

At some point, hopefully the Ags are winning some guys over by more or less saying, "do you want to have a 1 in 4 or 5 chance of starting in Austin (and risk losing a year to transfer when you get sick of riding the pine) or do you want to START here.......vs. SEC talent?!?"

Interesting to compare the 2011 list to the current list. A lot more of the top in-state talent has picked or considered A&M on the current list as opposed to last year. Great work recruiting by Sherman, helped by the late season run last year. Hopefully we are able to keep them and keep improving our recruiting!

I know for a fact that Pope is not enamored with TCU and would love to be contacted bythe good guys.

This is probably a dumb question, so sorry if it is...but say I am a 4 or 5* rated recruit in NJ or Wash State but would love to go to A&M because I've always followed them or just want to go somewhere far...is it as easy as the kid contacting the school to "hey look at me" or is it up to the HS coaching staff to do that on his behalf if the kids asks?

I really have no idea...I understand that A&M really does not need to go outside TX or LA to field a NC-worthy squad, but just wondering.

I don't follow recruiting much, but isn't it strange that there are only 2 ou commits and 0 osu commits?

I hope Looch is right and we have the best running back, quarterback, and wide receiver on that list.

Not biased right?

Amazing to see that there are ZERO OkSt commits on that list.
Also, beware of TCU increasing their recruiting prowess going forward. They will begin clipping 5-7 or so per season whereas the past was problem 0-1 per season.

not bad. 'sip get 15, we get 11. that's 26 of the top 44 (presumably) between us.

That's the way things should be. i'd take that every year.

Not enough interior D Linemen being recruited. This position alone will help pave the way to National titles. Then again, good down field coverage by secondary will make interior D Linemen perform better. More Defensive depth needed to compete in SEC.

Flip Edward Pope, Corey Coleman, Dom Wheeler and Malcom Brown and we are good.

Malcom Brown is not flipping. Wheeler and Pope on the other hand... there is interest I think.

Will I get tared and feathered for thinking Gray isn't all that? It seems to me Aledo's OL is very good and he has a lot of big holes to run through.

He'll be a good college player but I would take Williams over him any day. Kid is special.
