danny posted on gbh that they won't be raising the new goal amount.. and it appears you may be unable to give through the official page once the new goal is met.. you may want to figure out logistics on how to get the contributions to the family since the goal will more than likely be hit today (even though your "auction" ends next Friday)

As a point of clarification, the use of "raising" here means "increasing" (eg the change from $60k to $100k yesterday), not "collecting".
He won't have to use the giveforward site in order to donate the proceeds from this auction. In fact, I don't know he even planned to do it through there.

So you are only doing 5? It seems that you could have a minimum donation level and anyone over that gets one. Take some of the proceeds and pay for the framing on the rest, so the OP is only out the initial five promised, but can raise a ton more cash.
My guess is A&M is keeping the reigns on the number of charity prints.
