If by tipping pass you mean it's obvious he's passing in a passing drill, you're absolutely right. Otherwise , I have no idea what the actual f you're alluding to.

Anyone can be a passer in fall camp playing against no defense with zero fear of being hit. Good lord. Why post that? Maybe Reed will be a great passer this year, and maybe he won't. But either way, that's just a dumb thing to post. Sorry.

Last year there was discussion on his footwork, when it was a pass feet would be offset; run, feet even…but this is a passing drill so idk what else he's seeing

Hopefully that was just a random pairing in a drill, because what I'm way more concerned about is EJ Smith getting 1st team reps. Dude should not get meaningful snaps in a game unless it's like last year and all our other backs have been wiped out.

Last season, if I'm remembering right, he would have one foot slightly in front of the other before the snap any time he was going to pass, and he would stand with his feet evenly apart when he was going to hand it off. It was almost a 100% correlation, to the point that numerous rando X posters were picking up on it and tweeting about it. Surely our opponents noticed it too.

I can't tell from these clips if he is doing the same thing again or not. I would hope the coaching staff would get something like that fixed.

And after raising your hand. Please explain to me how something that was talked about last season and even now would go unnoticed by our coaching staff at this point if it indeed did occur last season.

Yeah I've seen this argument way too many times. If you pinpoint a few highlights, sure you could say the QBs are tipping. If you watch every play you'd see sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.

As a defender I don't see how that's very helpful.

1. Reed needs to offset his feet to pass the ball
2. Reed is unable to change

I'll come in and save OP.

Too many of you are getting addaboys for being clueless.

Last year Reed's feet placement on passing plays gave away that the play was going to be a pass. Cows defense spotted it on film and exploited it.

This was known to anyone paying attention. Yall quit acting like this isn't a valid concern.

This was a big topic of conversation at the end of last year, I'm surprised how many people are not in the know. Split feet were pass, feet side by side was run. It was highest accurate at predicting run/pass, the only time it didn't work was RPO's.

I figured the defense was tipped off during the drill after hearing the coach tell everyone what they were going to do. Blame the coach.
