Looking forward to the season with y'all. You talked about the flawed playoff system… it's only flawed because the powers-to-be want to manipulate the process for greed. Football was never intended to be an "invitational tournament".
Just set the criteria for earning a playoff spot before the season starts. It's simple… teams earn a spot if… undefeated, or a conference champion, or has only two losses if one of the losses was in a conference champion game and not both losses to the same team. Each year this will result in a different number of teams in the playoffs. Set the schedule for the max and adjust as the season unwinds.
Also, you mentioned the tuSA secondary ticket prices being so high. Maybe the market knows something that we can't see with our maroon-colored glasses on…. LOL
