My feelings about this thread in the zoo

yell leaders need their exposure limited to sidelines doing yells and yell practice yells .

Sign language lady at yell , and list eater unfortunately are the make up of our cringe culture. All this could have been avoided if we were not known as Texas 8&4.

Maybe, since camera's aren't going away and we now have a national audience, we could tailor Midnight Yell to be something that is not so cringey and embarrassing. Because it doesn't work for the intended purpose anymore.

I've been watching Lee Corso's final show and the story behind the mascot head pick, it was an idea to try something different. Does anyone actually enjoy Midnight Yell anymore? College Gameday made the CHANGE and history was made. There is an opportunity here. We, apparently, have a national audience watching to see Aggies be embarrassing and goofy, and not in a good way. But the way our administration runs the sports programs, I won't hold my breath.

Sonny, I would keep quiet if were you. You haven't a clue what MIDNIGHT YELL PRACTICE was like 50 or so years ago. It didn't have all the little cutsie preliminary speeches, the sickening corn ball, supposedly, jokes, cheerleaders, yes, embarrassing cheerleaders hopping, skipping and jumping around. Even the hand signal for the yells are a mystery to me. And pray tell what is all this dancing the do si do when the band plays hot time. It looks like fairies dancing around. It's embarrassing!!!!!
Like President Reagan once said, he didn't leave his party, the party left him. I'm finished, my school has left me. It does no good to post what is was like in the AGGIE DAYS. No one cares. Thanks for the memories.
