Plus with the Big10 now consuming the western United States the national limelight for programs like Alabama has shrunk dramatically. Bama can ill afford another loss or they will be in the same boat as a host of other teams in the potential also-ran category. It's a new world in college football for a number of teams used to being top-tier in the hearts & minds of football fans in this country. 2 losses and you are shoved aside 3 losses and it's wait till next year.
