Anybody have any clue where I can find the September 23, 1995 College GameDay broadcast. Aggies at Colorado. Not the game, the GameDay broadcast (Fowler, Corso, James).

I've looked on YouTube with no luck.

Any help appreciated.

There's actually a QR code that links to the video hidden in the original Fruit of the Loom logo. The QR code is in the cornucopia that used to be positioned behind the fruit.

I watched it the first time. Craig James putting on thr Aggie helmet as he made his pick. This was a year before Corso started his headgear picks.

Anyway, your best bet is probably trying to write someone at ESPN or A&M or Colorado and seeing if they can point you in the right direction.

A massively disappointing game in a massively disappointing season.

I'm with you brother, really thought that was the year.

edit: Detmer went down early and thought the Ags would roll.

I remember vividly Corso putting on the Buffalo headgear, along with James putting on the Aggie helmet.

Corso definitely put on the Buffalo whatever. I don't recall James.

You know I thought I remembered that too but over the years ESPN always made such a big deal about his first headgear pick being OSU in '96 I think I thought maybe I imagined it or something!

Right? You'd think people would remember something as monumental as our first black president.

There was a lot of tense drama at practice the week before the game. I doubt our players and coaches were unaffected by it.

Was also there. Definitely disappointing game. First college game I had ever been to where beer was sold. Lots of drunk Colorado students.

Probably more so than any game in my history, as Class of '95, that game forever changed the trajectory and future of Aggie football for the worse. Had we won that game, I think 2025 would look a lot different. We might've parlayed that win in to at least 1 natty, and established significant long-term dominance in Texas that changed the future of football for us.

That game wasn't even the costliest game of the first half of that season. We were still a top 8 team.

Our next game, in Lubbock, is what wrecked the program

I was at that Tech game in 95. Drove up with some friends. It's the only game in my life that I've ever truly blamed on refs. We beat Tech, but we couldn't beat the refs.

Clinton was president, Bush was in the white house, and Reagan was running this country into the ground in 1995.

this is as bad as the Aggie contingent hellbent on what-iffing a national title in 2012 if the Ags hadn't had to play UF the first game or if Johnny wouldn't have been a hungover dipsh-t who had no use for a playbook prior to any game.

If Johnny was hungover and had no use for a playbook and that's what it looked like. Sign me up tonight for Johnny on Saturday at ND. He's what you need with a ****ty defense

Craig James did pick us to win but I don't remember if he actually put on an Aggie helmet or not. I think he just held it up or something but I could be mistaken. But Corso did pick Colorado to win

When it looked like we were going to win there sometime in the early part of the second half, the whole Gameday crew came out on that little balcony right above where the visitor's seats were in the corner of that crappy stadium and people started chanting stuff at Corso. And then soon after that everything went to hell.

You are a sad and pathetic internet poster. The context of your drivel doesn't even relate to my point. Maybe take a break from posting for a while.

Haven't clicked on the link and haven't seen the games since it aired but if one of those time stamps isn't Chris Taylor running a slant and dropping a guaranteed touchdown, you've done it wrong. . I can still see that vividly in my head 30. YEARS. LATER.

As I said before, I don't remember Corso putting on the Buffalo head.

But Craig James said something to the effect of "This is the first time I've ever put an Aggie helmet on my head". I'll go to my grave defending that if someone can't provide video proof.

I remember that he definitely had an Aggie helmet up there. So you are probably correct.

I remember the perfectly thrown 40 yard dropped pass that would have been a touchdown.
