The point is that those teams still made it, got some really good pub and have a good chance at 10, 11 wins every season, and feel more accomplished than 7 or 8 wins a year in the SEC.

Lets say Texas Tech goes 12-0, loses in the first round of the playoffs on National TV. Finishes 12-1. Hmmmmm, not bad of a season.

Does that sound better than 8-5 and losing in the Texas or Music City Bowl to KState or Louisville?

It kinda does, agree?

No. I'd rather play multiple big time opponents and continue to work on improving. It's been close to a century since we won a national championship and we've come closer in the last 13 years.

I'll wait longer and play in the premier conference.

Have no ill will for any Big12 team- save all my ill will for the farce that is ranking more than 2 or 3 teams in the Big10 so high. that conf is a joke.

13-1 or 12-2 but 12-2 is less likely because the loser of the big xii championship probably left out. Maybe tech gets in if the championship is close.loss to Utah

For all the Big 12 hate in this thread, how exactly has the ACC been that much more impressive? From an aerial view of CFB this year, almost every confrence is wide open. For all the NIL is making the sport worse, it's the first time in a long time I don't think there's a clear top 3 favorite predicted to dominate their respective conferences.

Kudos to Tech, but I also think UH is being underestimated.
