As well, given the playmakers at WR and to some extent TE, we have ALOT of RPO in the offense now, so even if it is a run call, if it's not 3rd and 1 or 2, Reed may take the pass option to hit an explosive play.

Yards are yards. I don't care if we have 485 yards passing and 26 yards rushing. But the old caveat is always true, when you throw the ball 3 things can happen and 2 of them are bad!

It said 3 things can happen if you THROW the ball. In the case of a sack, the ball is not thrown.

Probably because Love would have a 20 yard run and then 3-4 stuffed in the backfield and then Moss just consistently got 3-7. You remember the explosive but not the boring and consistent.

He leads the team in Carries, Yards, and TDs.

He's averaging 5.1 YPC and has 4 TDs in 4 games.

Klien isn't trying to run the ball enough. It appeared they were trying to give Reed as many pass plays as possible the 1st 3 weeks and they abandoned the run vs ND because they were playing from behind most of the game.

I also think we had a lot of RPOs called in the first 5 games.
Defenses keyed on trying to stop our run game and we hit them with the pass. Reed seeing the defenses and attacking the areas he should.
