The only black aggie shirt I have was purchased after the team wore one is starkville in 2012 and Im too fat to wear it now. And Im not buying one.

Oregon has always been weird / crazy about their unis.

All those others black is a primary school color.

Penn State, USC, ND, Bama, Ohio State etc. would never do this.

But it is not awful, not like the FL wearing those "Gator skin" unis the one time we beat them in The Swamp (Dodson INT to seal it).

Ohio State has worn all black unis a few times. ND has worn some crazy alternates as well.

Variety is tradition at A&M... Class of '00 here and we had 7 variations of the logo. Even us "ol' timers" can wear a black and white tux once in a while. Having the football team change it up once a decade to all black for a game doesn't mean the younger crowd seeks to become Texas Tech. That's a ridiculous take.

Being in school during the Fran years (2003-2007) makes you eligible for therapy.....

It's not just back uniforms, which actually makes sense for Tech since one of the their colors actually is black. It's also that we beveled our logo after they beveled their logo. It's not that people think we are actually copying Tech, it's that it feels like we are, and we don't need to copy anyone, especially Tech. The real issue isn't black uniforms, or black end zones, or even the feeling that we are copying other schools. The issue is that between alternate uniforms, alternate end zones, the dj, the dance team, etc. many of us just miss old Kyle.

And I know some will say " but the students like it" and "it gets them so pumped up to be loud." But consider this, it's been at least 15 years since we had a game atmosphere controlled by the yell leaders and the band at this point. How do we know that old school Kyle wouldn't be novel to them and wouldn't pump them up? It worked for us, and they've never gotten to experience it. I think they should get the chance sometime.

Every generation of Ags can make this claim regardless of which generation theyre from. You graduated in 09'? Do you think Ags that graduated in 89' liked the way things transpired to 09? What about the Ags that graduated in 59?
