Hear me out. Not saying we are world beaters.

I'm saying every city hosting Aggies in it everywhere will go crazy. Yell practices in fountains. Hotels dealing with crazy. You know how crazy we can get.

And we aren't even close to winning anything really.

Imagine how insane the water coolers will be if we actually are playing for a natty.

I don't think the HR departments across the country are ready for this.

If the world can handle Ohio State, Alabama, Georgia, they can handle the Aggies. Aggies are kittens compared to those inbreds. And, honestly, that's something to be proud of.

I know this thread is satire but being 4-0 at the end of September is something Rumlin normalized a decade ago.

Get outside, enjoy the lower humidity and nice days. Spend time with kids. Unplug.

But whatever you do, don't pop a chubby over 4-0 Aggie football 1/3rd of the way through the schedule.

Agreed. I'll enjoy the games and wins, not get overly disappointed if we lose and wait until we have 10 wins until I'll allow myself to get my expectations too high.

I really think we make the playoffs. Just win the ones we should and win 1 of Mizzu, LSU, and sip. That's all we need at 10-2 we'll be in. But thinking we're going to win a natty with this team. Not happening. Sip has the backend to slow or shut down a guy like Jeremiah Smith. We just don't have that level of players and depth on D. OSU has destroyed everyone they've played since Michigan last year except tu. I just don't think we're ready to matchup to OSU or Miami. These 16/17 game seasons it's not just your best 22 but depth is going to be key. Injuries are going to happen. Top tier teams have starters 2 levels deep.

ND lost, on the road, to Miami by only 3 points. So, if you take the Vegas "7 points for homefield advantage" into account, we actually played better against ND than Miami did. I think, especially home or neutral site that we beat Miami.

OSU and Oregon do look to be a step above, though.

Who said anything about not enjoying the success? I said it's moronic to talk about the playoff when we are 4 games in to a 12 game season.

Do you celebrate no hitters after 3 innings?

Do you celebrate basketball wins with 7 minutes left in the first half?

First let's try to get past msu, shall we?

Then let's maybe try to get past Florida.

And so on.

If we get more than 9 wins then let's talk about the playoffs.
