We were in field box 12 so pretty much even with the holder and right before he got hit and saw he wasn't getting up .. i said he is about to get destroyed and yes he did…

Should have just laid down… lol

He wasn't in a defenseless position, like catching a pass across the middle. Can't penalize the defense when the dude holding the ball just sits there doing nothing...like it's the first time in his life he'd ever been on a football field.

There must be a rule when it comes to extra points and field goals in college ball… technically the ball is down/dead when the ball is caught and placed, waiting on the kicker. Maybe also why we got a free hit on the holder w/out penalty.

I truly am. I just know enough about football to know that A&M does not get penalized more than they deserve and there's no referee conspiracy out there to keep us down.

Nope. His knee on the ground was an exception to being down since he was a holder. He could get up and run so the tackle was legal.

Talk about something that looked horrible in real time on TV...but turned out to be a 100% legal tackle. Stinks that the MSU dude got hurt, but there was nothing illegal about the tackle...regardless of how ugly it looked.

First time in a looooong time I can remember the defense beginning to play downhill. There have been a play here or there, but as a whole, this defense looks hungry and wanting contact as opposed to waiting for the ball carrier to get to them then tackle. It makes for great football to watch.

Started to run right for a pitch/throw from the holder since it was a failed snap and hold

41:35 in video, it doesn't have the slow motion replay but the full game version does


Kicker would have been blown up on a pitch, holder took the grenade
