They are probably assuming we will be resting a bunch of guys to make sure they are ready for the SEC Championship Game the following week.

Historically speaking this is accurate.

Even in years we were the better team and should have won, sip has a magical ability to get the calls (targeting, etc) or make miracle plays (like Colt McCoy running for about 57 yards on a 3rd and 56 to get the critical 1st down).

Until we beat them consistently, especially in years we should win, they will be favored.

I am starting to wonder how much of ESPN's analytics and on-air analysis is intended to drive betting. It was one thing when they would push one team over another to drive ratings but when it is used to push bets to one side or another on the ESPN Sportsbook, it feels like a grey area.

Yea, well, ESPN has always been in love with the sips.

The only way to have that level of confidence in this bad sip team is if they have the refs in the bag.

Tu is our 3rd toughest remaining game at best. Mizzou is easily the toughest imo. LSU is always a problem . Granted things could change

Texas is a pretty salty team. Their defense is probably 2nd only to Ohio State. They haven't lost much on that side of the ball. Their issues have been the offensive line and injuries to both of their starting RBs.

I suspect they don't lose another game except maybe Georgia and there's a good chance we're playing for an entry into the SEC Championship game again. This narrative that they are suddenly terrible is pretty wild. They've lost two away games to solid teams, one of which is the reigning national champions and they lost that by 7.

It doesn't seem very surprising that FPI has them winning 2 of 3 against us at DKR. It's gonna be a tight game, same as last year. We're a little better and they are a little worse.
