Does Tceh throw mostly flour or corn? Frozen?

I'm so proud of them.

They got fined $25,000 for throwing objects on the field against Kansas.



They have two traditions: Tossing flour tortillas and spreading STDs. Who am I to knock traditions?

I haven't paid much attention to Tech in years. When this came up after the Kansas game, I couldn't believe that they had gotten away with this crap all this time. Every time an object hits the field, it should be a penalty. If the object hits near someone, personal foul. At the very least, it should be delay of game. Their defense is that "it's a tradition". Well, so is Raider Rash, but that ain't good if left unchecked either.

Some of u don't know the difference between flour and corn and it shows....

They used to throw batteries in addition to drinks at the Aggie band....

A battery could cause quite the jolt - ouch!

It's pretty amazing they've kept that fine tradition going for over 30 years now, in spite of fines that I guess the Tceh admin never cared about.

Throwing tortillas. An improvement over throwing goalposts.

Maybe they should try tossing pizzas instead. They could probably get grad level credit from their business school if they did.

Reminds me of the Lemon Chill lids at Kyle in the 90s...

This, in '01, they threw beer bottles, batteries, and dip spit in addition to the goal posts. Fun time.

I remember the goal post, but didn't see the other stuff.

They need to put tortilla sniffing dogs at all entrances to the stadium. Then sell them a $25.00 chicken wrap once inside.

They already use flour.

I went the SMU / Baylor game earlier this year. Before the game, I notice all the beer being sold was poured into cups. Pop the can and fill the cup. That struck me as odd since they already had a container.

Then SMU scored their first touchdown down. The student section erupted with beers thrown straight up in the air. Like they were everywhere. I realized two things.

1. That explains the cups.
2. How rich do your parents have to be that you can afford to throw $12 beers around multiple times per game?

That was still going pretty strong by the late 00's. I think it was mainly the student section, though, and those things definitely weren't making it to the field from third deck.

True story... my one and done trip ever there, at Midnight Yell, beer bottles breaking all around us.

Lubbuttocks is a cesspool. Will not go back, even if a playoff game were to go through here.

I can't help but laugh at the Tech fans who think this is just about what the Kansas coach said. No, it's a result of decades of their fanbase steadily building up a reputation for being classless in every sense of the word. A bunch of 50+ year old men whining about not being able to throw food onto a football field anymore perfectly sums up their fanbase as a whole.
