Yeah... that's a misleading headline. This is not about someone getting picked up for soliciting a prostitute (I honestly couldn't care less if two consenting adults have sex and money exchanges hands). This is solicitation of a minor. The two charges are VERY different.

Counterpoint: I figured a thread with Jay Graham in the title posted on an A&M message board would first trigger Aggies to think about a man on our BOR, not some random, no-name assistant coach who was briefly on staff 8-ish years ago.

I'm not trying to offend anyone, and I know our Jay Graham is an absolute stand-up guy, but when I saw "Jay Graham" in the thread title, my first thought was not about some scrub assistant who I had never heard of.

He was coaching at a high school, so the fact that he tried to hire a 16 year old is deeply concerning.

He might be really lucky that this happened before getting an actual underage girl alone with him. I'm not an expert on Tennessee laws, but I'd imagine that the penalties for solicitation are quite a bit less than for statutory rape.

on the other hand. more risky in Tennessee messing with a 16yr old, as you're also having to deal with

LE created a fake ad on an escort site. He called it and set up a meeting and paid an undercover cop for sex. He got arrested.
