What I've learned from the average Ag fan is that the only thing acceptable is being literally perfect....

So, you onviously missed the point. The while point is not about being perfect- it is about MISSING THE OBVIOUS!

which btw you did too....

The Zoo has proven two things. They can never be happy and they are simply waiting for us to lose.

Been saying this all season. They want so badly to say....."See, I told ya so, just like last year! We aren't a good football team and never will be."

There are a select group like that. They would rather be right than happy.

I still think 3 loses are possibly but I'm feeling much better about 10- or 11-1.

you guys need to get over yourselves. Are you really so insecure that you can't handle just criticism of any aspect of an Aggie game? Sheesh!

We were mauling their team on the ground; they were gassed; then we substituted our running game for 5 WRs and a called fade to the corner of the end zone.

That's BAD play calling and not the first time we've seen that by any stretch.

I'm happy and proud of this team, but some of you guys are football idiots or just plain babys!

Hey Vander- why don't you weigh in here defending that with football talk? Please.

OP wants a one dimensional offense while complaining about our OC that a bunch of AD's will be coming after at seasons end.

...... and they scored 42 ! winning by 3 points is nothing to get excited about, much less to use as justification for the way we played overall.

Them scoring 42 points has nothing to do with Klein or his offense.

Our failure to move the ball and keep them from double dipping before half did keep this game closer than it should have been.

True, it didn't help. But if the defense was playing up to the level of the past games, it wouldn't be an issue.

But they recognize that and I feel pretty sure that Elko and his boys will address that and get it corrected.

Klein has been really good. He should have ran the ball there. Both can be true.

You realize a large part of why the runs are working is because of the threat of the pass. If he always runs the ball in that scenario, teams will stop it and the offense grinds to a halt.

Yes I do. That was a spot where you run the ball. If they stop it, oh well.

We are 17 in the nation in ypg and 23 in scoring and some people are still complaining about Klein. What's it gonna take to win you over?

This team goes as far as the defense takes us. The offense has been consistently good - Auburn game perhaps being the exception but they have a really good defense and the refs in that game were … ridiculous is the only word I can come up with.

To put our offense in perspective, outside of our game Notre Dame has allowed 18 ppg. We scored 41 on them.

Like I've said multiple times, Klein's schemes are way above average. The number of wide open receivers and TEs has been impressive. But, he'll have a hard time outrunning the criticism when Rueben Owens gets slammed into the line 7x/game for 1-2 yards, and short yardage fourth downs have gone the way they've gone. In truth, a lot of the failure in the short yardage has been bad Reed reads, and if Reed hit wide open deep shots at a mere average rate, A&M is top 10 in yards per game.
