I think we are just frustrated because coaches have gotten away with a look of **** this year and then this happens (looking at you Kirby Smart).

If you want to label this as an "integrity of the game" issue, the focus on the integrity of the game.

Too many posts for me to know but im sure the obvious has been discussed. You fake an injury to slow a team down who is going fast and not allowing you to sub...which really wasnt happening here. Shoot the guy catching the pass is even taking time to celebrate his first down, not running back to the line for the next play. They might not have been going slow but this wasnt a situation we couldn't have subbed.

And coaches and players know the rules, if elko wanted to slow the pace, it would be easy to signal after the next play for a certain guy to immediately go down. One of the guys on the tackle could just stay down and not get up. Not really hard fellas.

It's ridiculous how the SEC is fining Elko $50,000 for allegedly feigning injuries when schools like Ole Miss and Tennessee regularly get away with doing that.

The true answer is that potentially injured players should no longer be eligible to play in the contest.

You've a week to heal up and try again.

Wow, that's the true answer? So Marcel gets the wind knocked out of him on the first drive of the game, and we're on QB2 for the entire game because of a very minor but momentarily excruciatingly painful injury?

I am fine with injured player having to sit for the remainder of the drive, but the entire game is just silly.

All of the perpetually embarrassed Aggies have refused to address it.

Defensive scheme, perhaps? Backup may have been playing better?
Chappelle may have been winded, not injured?
Could have been for any number of reasons.....or all of the above.

Stanley is a POS that cannot be trusted. Very simple. Everything we do in this conference will be examined closely. We will never be given the benefit of doubt, easiest preseason schedule or receive the officials judgement call (blatant holding). He stabbed us repeatedly in the back. Saturday night we roll. Sankey publicly reprimanded Coach Elko. If this doesn't galvanize the team to show up and play to defend Coach on another level,.....nothing will. Tomorrow you see perfect offense and perfect defense.

I could care less if we did it or not. EVERYTEAM does it.

I do remember as a couch telling a kid to go down because his bell was rung, he was hurt and trying to stay on the field…if it was ever on video …..it could look like I am yelling at a kid to go down to stall for more time….but all I was doing was trying by getting him to down was help the referee see the player was hurt and stop the game so as a coach I could enter the field of play.

I think you're missing the point. It doesn't matter if he was told to go down after the fact. He was already trying to get out of the game after the previous play. When you watch him run his coverage, you can tell he wasn't up to full speed. I don't know why this is even a thing. Seems pretty obvious he wasn't at 100%.

And right there is my issue with the whole damn thing. Kiffin may not have originated this BS but he damn sure utilized the **** out of it and was hardly given as much as a finger wagging by the league.
