Florida State did it in 1981. The only other team I could find that even played both on the road though was Tennessee in 2005 but they lost at Notre Dame.

Doesn't matter if Indiana's schedule looks weak, they are legit... you can turn on the game film and watch them execute; def one of the top 5 units in the country. Can a strong defense beat them? Of course, but for now they are deserving.

I'll believe Indiana is deserving of being #2 when they play an SEC schedule and still perform. They're not better than Ole Miss or GA.
I seem to recall the Indiana coach mouthing off last season about "easy" schedules for someone like Texas A&M. Maybe I'm mis-remembering, but if not, laugh my ass off at Indiana's closing schedule. For that matter, their entire schedule.
I'll give them credit for beating Oregon at Autzen but that win in not any more impressive than A&M beating Notre Dame in front of Touchdown Jesus. They should never have vaulted over us in the rankings based on that win.

They have a weak schedule, rack up wins with large point differences, and still field an i credibly strong football team when it comes time to play tough opponents.

On October 10, 1981, FSU beat unranked Notre Dame 19 - 13 in South Bend. Then, on October 24, 1981, FSU beat unranked LSU 38 - 14 at night in Baton Rouge. Somewhat shockingly, FSU finished with a 6 - 5 record and were not invited to a bowl game.

Don't know if we get 1st place votes (who cares tbh) but this is going to be a huge feather in our hat when the playoff committee and playoff rankings come out. We have an incredible resume and it stands to hopefully just get stronger in November.
