Careful… we don't have a President, don't seem to keep one for very long; we didn't let our last AD hire his pick for coach and then we let him leave shortly there after. We are paying a bigger buyout than they will.

The biggest difference is their Governor is making it a clown show, and they have won around five national championships under Woodard.

This is where the 12thMan comes into play…….we can be a pretty fickle, fair weather fan base at times (and getting worse by the year), but the optics that come into play when you empty out a stadium like that aren't good at all, and can really start to snowball when the higher ups get embarrassed like that. That program is Chernobyl-level toxic right now and it'd be hard for any reputable coach to want to jump into that snake pit

They won a championship in football, none of the rest really matters. He was fired for spending excessive amounts on coaching salaries and probably firing BK without approval from anyone above him. The gov is right that his spending was out of control for a state that is struggling and the school not having a president and board that isn't controlling the speeding.
