Yeah the little horns got a lot of help this week with 4 or 5 teams ahead of them losing.
Dropping Tennessee 9 spots is pretty harsh. They gave the game away for sure but they did have 100 more total yards on offense than OU

Their best win is over Miss. State in OT and they're the only 3 loss team in the Top 25. I'd say they're not being treated too unfairly.

Have you looked at the SEC standings lately? And how would being in the BIG make any difference in the votes of a bunch of journalists who likely never threw or caught a ball in their lives?
Finally, do you really believe we would be better off in a conference where the nearest competitor is Nebraska or Iowa, where Ohio State is the favored program, and where we have little history with any of those programs?

If another P5 School not named Memphis gets that bid, I predict there will be a rule change that says that the group of five champion must be ranked in the top 16 to be considered for an automatic bid. It is absolutely ridiculous that a non-ranked school could potentially be seated in the playoffs.
Really, it needs to be any conference champion. I still make the argument that Clemson last year should not have been seated, except for the rules. Of course, they would have been within the top 16 after they played their game. Maybe the rule needs to be going into the championship weekend.

SEC teams are 3 of the top 5, 4 of the top 10 and 8 of the top 20. Imagine if SEC teams didn't have to play each other!
